“When I left Deschambault Lake 14 years ago, I only hade Grade 5 and spoke little English, but I wanted to make a better life for myself and my daughter Erin. The College staff were so helpful as I went through the literacy, developmental studies and home care/special needs care studies. They encouraged me when I felt like quitting”. The hard work was worth it – Sally won the college’s President’s Award for most deserving student in 2004!
