Kristy Walker
Bookkeeper
North West Regional College
“I really liked the College, especially being here in North Battleford for my first year – I saved money by staying at home, and I kept my job.” After completing her first year in the Business Certificate program, Kristy worked as a secretary for the Battlefords Sexual Assault Centre for the next four years. This gave her the insight that bookkeeping and accounting was what she enjoyed, so when the College offered the second year, Accounting diploma in North Battleford she made the decision to return to school. “I did well in my program, and was offered a job right after completing my Diploma. Now at Living School Division, Kristy is happy with her experiences at NWRC and the opportunities it gave her to advance her career.
